Ingredients
1 kilo Chicken - slice to the size you want
5 cloves garlic - sliced quite finely
1 chopped medium size onion
2 medium size potatoes - cut lengthwise or cubes size
2 medium size carrots - cut lengthwise or cubes size
1 green bell pepper - cut lengthwise or cubes size
1 or ½ Red bell pepper - cut lengthwise or cubes size
1 tomato sauce 250g or more
1 teaspoon sugar
1 cup green peas (frozen or in can)
1 tablespoon Toyo
1 teaspoon salt-in fullness
1 teaspoon crushed pepper - not fullness
3 tablespoons cooking oil
1 chicken cube
3 cups water
Step By Step How To Cook Chicken Afritada
Wash the chicken and drain.
Grease the pan
Saute the garlic, followed by the onion
Toss the chicken and cover, let alone a little.
When the pinkish color of the chicken disappears and turns white, add soy sauce and sauté for a minute.
Put 3 cups of water, cover and let simmer.
Boil add tomato sauce, salt, pepper, sugar and chicken cubes.
Cover, reduce heat to medium heat and wait for it to simmer.
When it boils, add the carrots and potatoes, mix. Cover for up to 3 minutes.
Remember to keep the heat moderate so that the sauce does not stick.
Toss the green and red bell pepper. Catch the green peas.
